NoGrey Partners with Melbourne Period Project
To help celebrate International Women's Day, we have chosen to partner with the Melbourne Period Project.
NoGrey has committed to donating $1 from every subscription made to our app for the next fortnight.
This incredible grassroots charity provides support and resources to maintain the dignity of women, transmen, gender non conforming and nonbinary people experiencing homelessness.
Their inclusive, stigma-free attitude is a beacon not only of the values of IWD, but also of those we at NoGrey hold as paramount.
During her time working with the Australian Sex Party (now the Reason Party), one of our cofounders had the delight in working with Nevena Spirovska, the now Vice President of the Period Project.
Whilst their journey's have been very different, the commitment of these two women, and indeed all the women who make endeavours such as the Period Project, NoGrey and many others possible, shows that when women lift each other up incredible things can happen.
These 'incredible things' benefit not only those closest to them, but entire communities.
To celebrate this, we've decided to put our money where our mouth his (wink wink).
Any subscription between March 8 and March 22 to NoGrey will not only empower play, but empower inclusiveness. We're committed to supporting the Period Project and every new or existing users who subscribes or upgrades their subscription will see a donation of $1 from from today for the next two weeks.
To quote Lilla Watson, Aborigibal Elder, Gangulu woman, artist and activist:
"If you have come here to help me you are wasting your time, but if you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together".
Let us work together!
